OUR FOUNDER — RICHARD HYNES

Millennial Development was founded by Richard Hynes, who brings a background unlike any other contractor in Marin: Richard spent five years as a professional Building Inspector for the City of Mill Valley. He has personally inspected hundreds of construction projects from the regulatory side — he knows exactly what Marin building departments look for, how to navigate complex permit processes, and what separates quality work from work that fails inspection.

Before becoming an inspector, Richard grew up in a large Irish family with deep roots in the construction industry, starting on job sites as a teenager. That combination — hands-on craft from childhood, five years of regulatory expertise, and the standards that Marin clients expect — is what defines how Millennial Development builds.
